I can still see my settings for the tablet, pen and touch options, but as to the device section and function, there is nothing.Īny advice or thoughts on this? Thanks. :’(Īnd what’s curious is in the wacom tablet properties, only the application can be seen. The blue led thing which supposed to light up when the pen is near is dead. The replacement pen is not working with it as well. It’s probably the pen, and so I decided to buy a replacement pen. I thought since the touch was working there must be nothing wrong with the tablet itself. In the end I believed it was broken because the touch was working. Sure there where instances my pen has fallen because it slips from my hand, but I thought it was quite far fetched. I was hesitant to think this way because I’ve always taken care of my tablet. Now I was convinced there was probably something wrong with my pen then. She advised me the same thing on the internet. I was at my wits end at this point so I tried asking my friend who has the same brand as me. Installing the latest drivers etc but nothing happened. I followed advice on uninstalling and then reinstalling your drive. Note that I did everything I could to make it work. It’s going to be 3 months and counting now I think. From then on, it went from working to not working, and working again, until finally the pen just stopped working all together. There were instances where my pen didn’t work because of my nib and the surface of the table, so I wasn’t worried. All of a sudden, the pen stopped working. I also downloaded the drive for windows because I was planning to use my sister’s laptop to draw (for paintool sai, my macbook’s sai was not good.).Īt first all was great. I updated my macbook and downloaded the latest drive for my wacom. I was excited to update and when I finally did, this is when all my problems started. My pen and everything still works it’s just that I couldn’t change my pen settings. My pen works perfectly fine at that point even though the drive was incompatible with my system (I have a macbook). I updated my drive to tweak my pen settings. Hello! Last December when after months of being unable to draw because of academics, I finally got back to drawing.
